PSG: Skriniar’s agent speaks

Announced increasingly closer to Paris Saint-Germain (see here), central defender Milan Skriniar (27 years old, 19 games in Serie A this season) will not extend his contract with Inter Milan which expires next June. The Slovak’s agent, Roberto Sistici, confirmed the information this Monday afternoon from TeleNord.

« Before Christmas, I communicated to Inter the decision not to accept their offer. Choice reaffirmed at the beginning of January, before the Super Cup final, when I also informed the Nerazzurri leaders Marotta and Ausilio that we thought we were free to « Listen to offers from other clubs. It may not have been a mandatory communication, but for the player and myself, it was the most correct way to proceed, knowing that seriousness and transparency are the best way of proceeding for us. (…) For the moment, this possibility (to extend) does not exist”, asserted the representative, who subsequently refused to confirm the existence of an agreement with PSG.

« Between ourselves, we didn’t talk about Paris, just like we didn’t scare away our positions and those of Inter. Given that we had agreed to handle the matter with the right confidentiality, in the interest in the safety and performance of the team. And of the player I am assisting », a guest agent.
