For its license entry in the King’s Cup, FC Barcelona won ahead of Intercity after extra time (3-4).
Traveling to Alicante this Wednesday evening to challenge Intercity (3rd division), FC Barcelona, without Lewandowski or Pedri, qualified in doubles for the knockout stages of the King’s Cup after their 3-4 victory at the end extension.
The Catalans were however led by 3 times, thanks to Araujo (0-1, 4th), Dembélé (1-2, 66th) and Raphinha (2-3), but were each time joined in the score by a brave 3rd division formation.
Pushed into extra time, the Blaugrana took advantage of their opponent’s fatigue and ended up winning following a goal by Fati (3-4, 104th), who came into play in the 75th minute of play.
