De Ligt should win

The attack around new seed Sadio Mané (30) and strong young Musiala (19) made it exceptional in both games with a total of eleven Bayern goals even without Sané. « It’s the same with Leroy as with Matthijs de Ligt that his competitors are doing very well, for example when we talk about Jamal, who is in a very good mood, » explained Nagelsmann.

Nagelsmann sees no reason for a rotation in August in terms of performance and for « load control » reasons. « We are still in the human phase of the season with matches every seven days. There is no reason to change, » he said before the game against Wolfsburg.
